My journey into art began when I was just five years old. I vividly remember drawing a figure that looked like an astronaut and racing to show it to my mother. She didn't just praise it; she hung it proudly on the fridge with a magnet. That small moment of validation sparked something in me, and from that point on, I was hooked on drawing.

Creativity was the air I breathed growing up. My mother spent over twenty years as a creative director and eventually ran her own graphic design firm, while my father filled our home with his love for music. I was also deeply influenced by my older brother who was incredibly talented in both art and music. As a young child, I spent much of my time simply wanting to draw just like him.

While our specific tastes in music and art styles might differ today, that core passion remains our common language. Their influence shaped who I am, and I’m thankful to carry that creative spark forward.

I don't typically share much about myself, but I feel it's imperative to credit my parents and brother. Their roles in my upbringing are central to who I’ve become as a person.

Artist statement

Depicted through a dark, monochromatic dystopian atmosphere, my artistic exploration seeks to delve into the depths of the creativity and imagination of the human psyche.

Employing the medium of drawing, I embrace surrealist techniques and engage in an extensive exploration of diverse mark-making approaches, in the attempt of establishing a dynamic dialogue between spontaneous and consciously guided marks.

I regard the medium I use not just a tool, but an extension of my own being, serving as a companion that enables the discovery of intriguing forms and figures. It grants me the capacity to navigate uncharted territories and unveil hidden visual imagery within abstract forms.

I focus more on the process rather than the final outcome, as it creates a sense of excitement and embraces uncertainty. This perspective alleviates the pressures associated with translating mental concepts onto paper, liberating me from self-imposed limitations and enabling unfiltered artistic expression.

This website showcases a curated collection of my work from 2017 to the present.

This collection represents more than just finished pieces, it’s a testament to my passion for the craft and my drive to keep pushing the boundaries of what I can create.
